 A Policy Brief for the Brown Administration

The Californians for Pesticide Reform coalition is releasing Healthy Children & Green Jobs: A Platform for Pesticide Reform, a set of scientifically-grounded, health-protective policy recommendations for the incoming Brown Administration. The coalition’s top priority is for Governor Jerry Brown to take immediate action to prohibit the use of a cancer-causing strawberry pesticide, methyl iodide. The policy recommendations prioritize protecting children’s health and supporting healthy, safe and climate-friendly agriculture and pest management in California.
